Amber colour. Dense. Slowly dropping. When fall in the cup it looks like oil. Very clean. When we open the bottle it smells like hazelnuts. Honey, dried apricots (known in spanish as ’orejones’), prunes, corinto raisins, dates, bitter orange jam, hazelnuts... In mouth it’s dense and oily; it confirms the nose, a bit of acidity (I miss a bit more), hazelnuts. In backnose I find camomille. It’s not a long wine and it doesn’t cloy you if you don’t abuse of it. It’s better to drink a bit cold (10-12 celsius degrees) in order to avoid the strong presence of the alcohol.
